Recovery and care
The first 30 mins to 1 hour
Do not shower yet
Wait at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before showering. This allows the massage oils to penetrate deeply and provide maximum benefit.
During this time
- Rest and relax
- Drink plenty of water
- Stay in comfortable, loose clothing
- It’s normal to feel sleepy
When you shower
Shower your feet first with cool or warm water (not hot), then gradually work up your body. Use gentle soap and pat skin dry gently.
The 30 to 60 minutes after your massage is crucial. Avoid strenuous activity and allow your body to fully integrate the treatment.
Recovery guidelines
First 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours
- Continue drinking water
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep that night
- Eat light, whole foods
- Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours
What to expect
Mild muscle soreness similar to post-workout is normal and typically subsides within 24-48 hours. Most benefits stabilize within 1-2 days: reduced pain, improved flexibility, better sleep, and improved mood.

Your health
Health Notice: Under normal massage session conditions, nothing serious or pain should occur. Generally, mild soreness resolves naturally within 24-48 hours without medical attention.
If you experience any unusual pain or injuries after your session, consult a doctor if needed. This is uncommon under normal circumstances.
Consistency for best results
For best results, I recommend one session per month, or up to two sessions per month spaced 1-2 weeks apart. Benefits compound with regular sessions.
